Some NYC photos by Boots (3.5 years old)…

My boys (big and small), and I, recently took a trip to New York. As well as city play, we enjoyed Montauk where we attended the wedding of dear friends. Here are just a few of our favorite Montauk shots…

This 19th century farmhouse was the home of Jackson Pollock and Lee Krasner. My boys and I ran wild in the meadow behind the house pictured above. We ran wild, that is, until we heard a tour guide shout (during a tour), “GET OUT OF THE MEADOW…GET OUT OF THERE NOW!!!” Slightly embarrassing, but also frickin’ hilarious…

NYC photoshoot by Boots (3.5) coming soon…
GC features Wendy Brown: The Supermom.
I asked Wendy’s best friend, Amber Dusick, How has cancer has touched her life? This is what she had to say…
“Touched your life” sounds endearing. I’ll pretend you asked me “how has cancer bitch slapped your life” instead because that is how it feels so it is easier to answer.
My best friend has breast cancer. Stage IV. This means it is not curable, only treatable. She is my age and has three young children. We found out seven months ago and she has been fighting it ever since.
Everything I do, everything I think and everything I feel is colored by her. By what she is going through. And especially by knowing that I can’t do a damn thing about it.
